Navigate Vs Isolate: Recognize Unintentional Isolation

Time spent alone, without intention, is isolation. When we need time to recuperate, rest and relaxation is important; take the time and the space you need. If you feel stuck, if you have things that you intend for yourself but feel as if you can’t, you are likely isolating. Navigate this by moving, as I like to say, “Do Different.”
If we can recognize unintentional isolation, then we can utilize this moment, gifted to us by our Tool of Self Awareness, as an opportunity. This opportunity can open the door for an education about ourselves, the use of tools based in New Mental Muscle, and lastly a moment of kudos for showing compassion toward ourselves.
As an example, if you can’t manage the shower, leave the house dirty and with messy hair, call the friend or family member that you like to engage with, and get outside. Or, bypass connection with others, grab a comforting beverage, and go for a walk solo.
Cherish each moment you offer yourself for continued growth.
